An Introduction
The Old Strathcona Record Club is a place for music and vinyl enthusiasts to hang out, hear good music and drink with pals. We meet every other Wednesday in the Underdog on Whyte Ave.
My name is Nick Jackson and I'll be hosting the events. Records are a huge part of my everyday life, and I'm hoping to build up a community of like minded people.
We'll focus heavily on garage, psych and soul but the O.S.R.C. is open to anyone who likes music. Chances are if you have a record collection, there's something you have that you want to share with others. We want to hear from you. We'll have guest DJs, but if you have something you think we'll be interested in, bring it down and we'll play that too!
